Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is an umbrella organization that helps support over 450 health service organizations throughout the country including the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative which helps women battling breast and ovarian cancer. BC/EFA stemmed from the Broadway theater community's response to the AIDS epidemic in the 1980's and has been helping men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS ever since. Together with our help we hope to see an end to HIV/AIDS, breast and ovarian cancer FOR GOOD.

In 2015 Madison’s AIDS Network merged with the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin to bring
highly coordinated HIV health care under one roof at 600 Williamson Street. The result has been a more unified and effective front to the AIDS epidemic. This event will honor the fifth anniversary of these two organizations coming together, now known as Vivent Health. “We are better together than we ever were apart. Today people with HIV live longer in Wisconsin than anywhere else in America and this merger has contributed significantly to this outcome,” said Mike Gifford, President & CEO of Vivent Health. “this is an anniversary worth celebrating and our generous friends in the cast of WICKED are donating a one-of-a-kind celebration.
